Storyline:


      In 1849, Joaquin Murietta (Buck Jones) is determined to track down the three men (Black Kelly, Ike Mason and Al Goss) who lynched his brother Juan for a crime he did not commit. To exact his revenge on the three, Joaquin becomes the notorious Black Shadow and, while he's about that task, he romances the new school teacher Helen Lake (Dorothy Revier).
